E-ex 8-1 Active vs. passive verbs- It was a nice review and refresher, but I understand the difference between active and passive.
E-ex 8-2 Active vs. be verbs- I need a lot of work on Active vs be verbs. I had a hard time telling the difference.
E-ex 8-3 Active verbs -A good test of your skills but I had and easy time switching them.
E-ex 9-1 Parallelism- That is something I never realized that I do.
E-ex 9-2 Parallelism- Same as 9-1
E-ex 9-3 Parallelism- After the first two reviews changing them wasn't hard.
E-ex 10-1 Needed words- it is easy to read the sentence to see it the word is needed or not.
E-ex 10-2 Needed words- It was hard for me to find the mistake and fix the sentence.
E-ex 11-1 Mixed constructions- It was easy when you read the sentence out loud.
E-ex 11-2 Mixed constructions- Same as 11-1
E-ex 12-1 Misplaced modifiers-This one was good for me because it is something I do without noticing.
E-ex 12-2 Misplaced modifiers- It was hard to correct the sentences correctly.
E-ex 12-3 Dangling modifiers-It was hard to tell the difference between the right and wrong sentence.
E-ex 12-4 Dangling modifiers- It showed me that modifiers is something I really need to work on.
E-ex 13-1 Shifts: person and number- Easy pick up but can go unnoticed easily.
E-ex 13-2 Shifts: tense-Same as 13-1.
E-ex 13-3 Shifts-Same as 13-1
E-ex 13-4 Shifts- Nice to review what you just learned and put it to use.
E-ex 14-1 Choppy sentences- Tough for me to tell the difference between the correct and not correct sentence.
E-ex 14-2 Choppy sentences- Something I also need to work on.
E-ex 14-3 Subordination- Easy to understand as the examples went on.
